Un-Install battery pack

At the end of the season, after you uninstall the sensor from the ground, it’s recommended to un-plug the battery. Battery life can be extended by removing and unplugging the battery pack on the top of the sensor.

 

What you will need?

  • A drill or screwdriver adapter with a T10 star bit
  • Flat screwdriver

 

After uninstalling the sensor from the ground

 

  1. Using your T10 star bit, unscrew the 5 screws on top of the sensor.Screen_Shot_2017-07-12_at_12.35.42_PM.png
  2. Remove the battery pack by pulling it up.
    *You might want to use a flat screwdriver to assist you pulling it out.Screen_Shot_2017-07-12_at_12.35.48_PM.png
  3. Carefully un-attach the plug from the battery pack by pulling it out.

  4. Store the sensor, battery and all parts in a safe, dry place for next season.

 

Install battery pack

 

Once it’s time to  install your sensor again please follow these steps:

 

What you will need?

  • A drill or screwdriver adapter with a T10 star bit

 

  1. On the battery pack, make sure the silicon rubber is tight on the battery pack

  2. Plug the connector coming out of the sensor into the plug on the battery pack.
    *Make sure the male connector is pushed all the way into the female connector.

  3. Carefully insert the battery pack into its place on the top of sensor. Make sure all wires are below the battery and not tight to the side of the battery.
  4. Screw back the the 5 screws to the top of sensor.
